- How they personally mistreat other members of the group. Physical and verbal abuse. Dominant group often not consciously oppressive.
- Internalised
- Believing their oppression is true. Internalising. Over-compensating for the issue. Not owing money. Splitting the bill.
- Unconscious bias
- Pyramid of harm/ triangle of severity. Doesn't always work linearly. No-one wakes up and shoots up a synagogue.
- Unconscious bias is base of this. Reflect on low-level behaviours. Radicalisation becomes more difficult if you stop the bottom
- Need to target the bottom because Jews look at these and think that these behaviours are about to bring
- Dogwhistle
- Successfully alientates people because others can't understand why they're upset/ worried. Targeted group look paranoid.

- Many Jews are white passing and middle class.
- Antisemititism is framed in the positive
- well connected, educated
- Framing as "punching up"
- Antisemitism is cyclical
- Different to anti-black racism. Want to extract cheap labour. Keep black people down. Different with Jews
- Jews join community
- Jews gain some power
- Anti-Jewish resentment grows
- Jews attacked.
- Often Jews appear successful and comfortable just prior to them being killed.

- tells us lie that jews aren't vulnerable
- Makes Jewish exhausted and nervous.
- Antisemitism threatens democracy itself
- People in power will use it to get more power
- People who lose elections will use it to explain why they didn't win.
