# Change management
Notes from Susie Palmer-Trew podcast:
- Change seems easy until you try it.
- Project management is good people getting good stuff done.
- Consultants join when a decision has been made that's not working. Sometimes it's about going back to that first decision.
- Goals need to be recognised by the staff members working on them. Yes, start with the end goal in mind, but it has to resonate with the staff who are delivering on that goal, even if they are only a temp.
- Organisations cause trauma.
- No such thing as 'change fatigue'- it's just shit change.
