### Capability
- Two types- psychological and physical
- An individual's psychological and physical capacity to engage in the activity
- Having the necessary knowledge and skills
### Opportunity
- Two types- physical and social
- The physical and social environment that enables the behaviour. Outside of the individual.
- The social and physical factors that make wanted behaviours more likely to happen, and the less wanted behaviours less likely to happen.
### [[Motivation]]
- Two types: reflective and automatic.
- Not just about goals, all types of behaviour.
- Reflective processes - conscious
- Automatic processes- unconscious. emotional responses, desires and [[Habits]] resulting for associative learning and physiological states
## Policy Categories
- Also linked the model to various policy categories, so that it is easy to see what kind of activities can take place.
