- The information about the Salford community being an attractive part of student recruitment is great to see, thanks for including that, nice to see it confirmed at least as a secondary factor.
- This group looks more lonely than the general population
- I really like the recommendation on slide 6 about managing expectations in advance. Some of the quotes (particularly slide 26) you’ve presented will be really helpful for us to do some of this expectation management, and address [[loneliness]] stigma, in our communication campaigns during Welcome.
- It’s interesting to see how closely affiliated many students feel to their course. This suggests that this is the avenue/ aperture for increased social engagement in general.
- I think we are broadly aware of these barriers to [[Connection]], and are working on programmes to address these over the next few years. However it is difficult. I think the development of a new student app (in train) might help with some of this
